boyteksCan you briefly talk about company’s areas of activity?

Boyteks continues its activities on a total of 155,000 square meters indoor and 215,000 square meters outdoor area of its 3 plants. Boyteks, which continues its investments since the day it was founded and adds value to the employment and industry with its Kayseri and Bursa plants, rolled its sleeves up to add value also to the carpet sector by starting to Mustafa Yıldırım Boyteks General Manager manufacture carpets in 2011 besides mattress ticking and upholstery fabric. Moreover, closely following world trends enabled us to become one of the first brands to come to the minds in mattress ticking and upholstery fabric areas.

And what about figures? Can you talk a little bit about your figures such as export, turnover and employment, and about your goals?

With the mattress ticking plant founded in Kayseri in 2002, the upholstery fabric plant founded in Bursa in 2003 and the carpet plant commenced operations in Kayseri at the second half of 2011, Boyteks adds value to the economy with its more than 1300 employees. Our brand that impresses every year with its investment and growth rates recorded a growth of 14 percent in 2012. And when the growth trend is examined in light of these data, our biggest goal is to make Boyteks a world brand.

So, what steps do you take to achieve this goal?

We follow the developments in the textile sector closely. We display our R&D products and meet with our customers by attending the international textile fairs with our 3 companies every year. We improve our technological progress each day. We deliver our products to 90 countries of the world. Our mattress ticking plant has the world’s largest capacity under a single roof. And this plant hangs on to its leadership position in the sector with its jacquard weaving and knitted mattress ticking production. While we supply upholstery fabric to the furniture manufacturers in our production plant in Bursa, we continue producing acrylic, woolen, polypropylene, shaggy carpets in our carpet plant that commenced operations in Kayseri with an investment of 50 million dollars. We also began exporting carpet with Deco Rugs&Carpet brand. As Boyteks, we work hard to meet all kinds of needs of our customers with highest quality products delivered fast.

Will your investments continue?

In which fields, we will see you more? Our investments continue at all three companies. We will increase the production capacity of our mattress ticking plant 15% this year. We began manufacturing warp knitted fabric as the latest trend in upholstery fabric, and we are continuing our investments. We are the first to manufacture this fabric in Turkey and we are the leader in production. We offer products in 45 different patterns and unlimited color options. This year, we also began manufacturing velvet. Moreover, over investments for the new established carpet plant continue. Since the day we founded, our name is associated with the innovations we brought to the sector. And with the warp knitted and velvet fabric that we added to our product portfolio, we will continue our sustainable and balanced growth at foreign markets besides the domestic market in 2013.

What does Boyteks offer to the consumers? What is its road map?

As Boyteks, our goal is to enable consumers to find everything they are looking for in a concept store, to find everything about mattress ticking, upholstery fabric and carpet. At the moment, we meet the needs for knitted, woven, spacer, rib, velour and pile fabric at our mattress ticking facility. And at our upholstery fabric facility, we meet the needs for woven, warp knitted and velvet fabric. At international fairs we attend such as Evteks, Mood and Cologne, we welcome our customers with a portfolio satisfying all kinds of needs.
