Samur Carpets, which first introduced printed carpet technology to Türkiye, will welcome visitors at the CFE Istanbul fair with new products set to revolutionize the industry.
Founded in 1973, Samur Carpets established Türkiye’s first integrated wall-to-wall carpet manufacturing facility and later pioneered the country’s first printed carpet production plant. Samur Carpets’ General Manager, Yavuz Böke, stated that the company now operates as Türkiye’s first fiberglass-reinforced PVC-backed carpet tile production facility, with an annual production capacity of 12 million square meters.
The first and only in printed carpet tiles in Türkiye
Emphasizing their competitive edge in contract projects with innovative products, Böke said:
“Our products, which are durable, stain-resistant, antibacterial, and provide sound insulation, meet limitless decoration needs. Thanks to the special conductive carbon fiber used in our production formula, our carpets maintain anti-static properties for life. Our business partners continue to use our products with satisfaction for many years, returning to us only when they wish to make decorative changes. The fact that there are no issues with customer satisfaction or product deformation is a great source of pride for us.
Although we are the only manufacturer of printed carpet tiles in Türkiye—a segment that is among the latest global trends—this unique position never limits our drive for improvement. We constantly strive to innovate, adapt to global developments, and either follow or lead worldwide trends. As pioneers of the printed carpet tile trend, we have been manufacturing in Ankara since 2016 and proudly representing Türkiye on the global stage,” he stated.

“We pioneered many firsts”
Adding that Samur Carpets has achieved numerous industry firsts, Böke said:
“We were the first in Türkiye to produce polypropylene and polyamide yarns. These high-quality yarns are used in our products, and we also export them abroad, generating added value.”
The brand supports social responsibility projects
Highlighting their focus on social responsibility alongside production and exports, Böke concluded: “As Samur Carpets, we always strive to act with social awareness. Every support and contribution empowers us further. In this regard, we especially aim to support education. As a result of this vision, we are proud to share that Çubuk Hayri Aslan Girls’ Vocational High School has become part of our country’s education system. Just as in the past, we will continue to operate with a sense of social responsibility in the future. In terms of environmental policies and human resources, we aim to work with a scientific, modern, and forward-thinking approach.”
Samur Carpets, present at over 2,000 locations across Türkiye, also serves more than 65 countries globally across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa.
