ACT grows with new investments

ACT (Asia Carpet Textile), a brand that has reached its goal of exporting 1.5 million dollars from a small weaving workshop, is continuing to expand its place in the world market day by day with its new investments. The company owner Feruz Ganiyev, explaining the process of the brand from its establishment to present, expressed that they made another 4 million Euro investment this year.

From weaving workshop to factory

Ganiyev, giving information about ACT, said “We started carpet production as Asia Carpet Textile in 2011 when we were a small weaving factory. As one of the leading brands in Central Asia, we are continuing to move forward to the world market step by step. We are currently doing the entire production cycle, from yarn to carpet, internally. All of our products comply with international norms and quality standards. And we are applying an international quality control system that guarantees this conformity. We continue to produce with the latest technology products of the leading brands of the carpet sector such as Schonherr and Van De Wiele.”

5 million square meters per year

Feruz Ganiyev, the owner of the company, also gave information about the carpets they produce and their features, said “As a brand, we are offering different carpet options consisting of BCF, heat set and polyester yarn. Our carpet quality has an increasing density from 250 to 760, and we have the power to produce approximately 5 million square meters of carpet annually.”

4-million new investment

Ganiyev stating that as ACT they will continue to increase their investments in order to be a better brand, said “In 2022, we made a new machinery investment of approximately 4 million Euros, branded Schonherr. We are increasing our power in production in this way. In addition to this, we invested in an Oerlikon branded machine for yarn production. This investment will be completed by the end of the year and will start production. As a result, we will have increased our yarn and carpet production power by 50% compared to previous years.”

Target 1.5 million dollars export

Feruz Ganiyev, giving information about export activities, concluded his words as follows: “Last year, we made 500 thousand dollars of export. We are continuing our studies to increase this figure even more with the investments we have made recently. In 2022, we aim to export 1.5 million dollars at the moment. The countries we export the most to are Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. As a result of our investments we aim to increase the number and export intensity of these countries.”
