The leading fair of the home textile industry Evteks will be held 18-22 May 2021. All major players of the industry in Turkey are desperately waiting for the opening of the event.
All of the national and international exhibitions, planned to be organized in Turkey between March 16-August 31, 2020 and considering the measures for the Covid-19 pandemic, had been postponed by the Ministry of Trade in accordance with the decision of the Scientific Board of the Ministry of Health, to be organized after the period September 1, 2020.
Under this decision, EVTEKS – 26th Istanbul International Home Textiles Exhibition, which had been rescheduled to take place between August 25-28, 2020, was postponed to May 18-22, 2021 upon the joint decision of Istanbul Trade Fairs and TETSİAD – Association of Turkish Home Textile Industrialists and Businessmen.
EVTEKS will be once again organized in May, on its regular date. It is believed that it will come closer to its target, being the most important exhibition of the global home textile industry and add power to the manufacturers and exporters of Turkey in the global competition.
Over 1,000 leading manufacturing and export-import companies will present their latest collections in home textiles, contract textiles, design, floor and wall coverings on an area of 160,000sqm.
Interior designers, design and lifestyle stores, furniture showrooms, distributors, importers, wholesalers, department stores, chain stores, contractors and hotels from Europe, Middle East, Russia and CIS countries, Gulf countries and North Africa will visit the fair.
