New raw material production and R&D investments
In addition to its sectoral achievements, Fustat Life Halı has established a new production branch with the founding of Elkataş Tekstil in 2024. With this new investment, they produce raw material products such as carpet bases (PVC, cotton, dot), fringes, fabrics, and sponges, offering them to manufacturing customers. Fustat Life Halı has quickly solidified its leadership in the sector.

The industry’s transformation process
The pandemic led to many changes in the carpet industry. Despite the challenges posed by exchange rate increases that made raw material purchases and production processes difficult, Fustat Life Halı prepared itself for the industry’s changes and emerged more resilient. As export customers withdrew from the Turkish market, the company developed strategies in line with market conditions and successfully navigated the sector’s challenges.
Global expansion with innovative products
Fustat Life Halı plans to launch a world-first product in 2025. The company aims to produce digital printed carpets named “Pati Dostu” for customers who own pets. With R&D work nearly completed, this product will be the first of its kind to be introduced to the market by Fustat Life Halı. Additionally, the company plans to open new stores in the Balkans and increase its presence in international markets in 2025.
