Carpets & Rugs Expansion: Heimtextil’s popular Carpets & Rugs segment will occupy expanded hall space, showcasing hand-knotted carpets, machine-woven options, and other unique pieces. The segment has attracted new exhibitors such as ABC Italia, Bhadohi Carpets from India, and Belgium’s Balta Home. Notably, a new collaboration with Belgian association Fedustria will present a “Belgium Textiles” area featuring some of Belgium’s most renowned carpet companies.
Heimtextil directors Bettina Bar and Margit Herberth made an impressive press conference in Istanbul in early October and detailed what the start-button-event of the year has in store in its 2025 edition.
At Heimtextil 2025, the successfully established product segment grows in quality and quantity. Number of exhibitors and the area grew tremendously.
“We are very pleased about this growth from the market. It clearly reflects the industry’s need for a strong, international and central carpet platform. This is exactly what we offer with Heimtextil in Frankfurt: a comprehensive market overview and a bundled product range combined with the highest quality. We have listened to the market and taken on board the feedback. Now it’s a matter of expanding the range, organizing it in a structured way and presenting it to visitors in a structured manner”, explains Bettina Bär, Director Heimtextil. In 2025, the segment grows by an entire hall level: the expanded range of high-quality hand-woven carpets and the international country pavilions are located in the additional Hall 5.0. Once again, Hall 5.1 is home to the growing segment of machine-woven carpets and also brings together the enlarged pre-production offer with fibers and yarns as well as technologies specifically for the carpet industry.
Hand-knotted carpets and unique pieces, doormats and clean-off systems as well as textile solutions for outdoor areas and contract business round off the unique range. Another highlight: a new carpet area is being planned together with the exhibitor Ragolle Rugs and the Belgian association Fedustria. The association will be exhibiting together with wellknown exhibitors from Belgium in a high-quality joint presentation.
Home for the global carpet industry: Carpets & Rugs
Place-to-be in Frankfurt: Heimtextil brings together all global market leaders from the international carpet industry. Carpets & Rugs already has twice as many exhibitors as last year and grows by additional hall levels. In Hall 5.0, hand-woven carpets, designer and unique pieces as well as international country pavilions can be discovered. Hall 5.1 is home to the growing range of machine-woven carpets, fibers & yarns and technologies for the carpet industry. In addition, Carpets & Rugs occupies the hall level 3.0, complementing the product groups Wall Decoration and Textile Design as well as the Heimtextil Trends 25/26 in the adjacent Trend Arena. Floor mats, clean-off systems, textiles for outdoor and contract furnishings round off the unique range.
New exhibitors such as ABC Italia (Italy), Bhadohi Carpets (India), Balta Home (Belgium) and Javi Home (India) as well as strong returnees such as Heritage Overseas (India), Kaleen Elyafestyle (India), Lalee OHG (Germany), Merinos Group with Özerdem (Turkiye), Oriental Weavers Group (Oriental Weavers Carpets, EFCO, MAC Carpet, Egypt), Jaipur Rugs (India), Ragolle Rugs (Belgium) and The Rug Republic (India) are registered. Members of the associations Fedustria (Belgium), Office National de L’Artisanat (Tunisia) and Unifam (Spain) will also take part. Together with Fedustria and the exhibitor Ragolle Rugs, a new area will be made: At ‘Belgium Textiles’, around 15 well-known Belgian carpet companies will stage a unique joint presentation. Other carpet suppliers will be located in Halls 3.1 within the DecoTeam and the Design Lounge powered by DecoTeam as well as in Halls 6.0 and 6.1 as part of the exhibitors’ overall collections.
Extended range of Fibers & Yarns
Heimtextil offers an extended range of fibers, yarns, woven and knitted fabrics, finishes and equipment. The suppliers and producers are positioned in the various product segments, in line with their respective areas of application. The extensive Fibers & Yarns area thus generates valuable synergies between the product ranges on the fairgrounds and an important added value for numerous target groups such as weavers, manufacturers and product designers. Big names such as Interima (UK), Georg & Otto Friedrich (Germany), Korteks (Turkiye), Sasa Polyester (Turkiye) and Trevira (Indorama Ventures Fibers Germany) will be there.
