Uzun Family, former hand-made carpet manufacturer, is producing machine-made carpets in its new facilities in Gaziantep.
Vista Halı, established its own production facilities in Gaziantep in 2016, is making carpet production with the state-of-the-art machines using natural products. Ahmet Uzun and Abid Uzun, the firm owners, said that they have been dealing with the production and trade of hand-made carpets for many years, expressed that they now use their experience for machine-made carpets. Ahmet Uzun who is giving information about the company said “We, as Vista Halı, started producing in 2006. Then, in 2016, we decided to establish a production facility on our own. We conveyed our experience, which is in hand-made carpets, to the production of machine-made carpets this time. We currently have a production facility equipped with the latest technology. Here we are producing carpets with products made of natural materials”

Abid Uzun, told that they are working on export activities around the world, said “Export is very important for us. We are sending our new products abroad by continuing our R&D studies. We are one of the companies staying up-to-date in the sector with different products every year. It is important to stay up-to-date especially for design and new product production. There are now countries that we export to in 7 continents of the world. We aim to be ahead of our current position for the next period.”
Annually 1.5 million square meters
Ahmet Uzun stating that they have an annual production volume of 1.5 million square meters as Vista Halı, finally said “Customer satisfaction is very important for us. Now, there are all kinds of carpet production, especially PP and polyester, in our facilities. We have the power to produce 1.5 million square meters of carpet annually in our latest model looms. Our final target is to rise and progress in exports on behalf of our country. In line with these goals, we will take our exports to higher levels by participating in both domestic and international fairs.”
